Environment
The United Reformed Church (URC) strives to be a hospitable and inclusive church where all, regardless of age, race, gender, sexual orientation or social class are warmly welcomed into the life of the Church, its worship and pastoral care.
Support
The URC supports movements and charities working for justice and peace, including Fairtrade and Christian Aid (through its Commitment for Life programme).
Our congregation supports these and other organisations including local food banks, young people's charities and Breadline Moldova.
We are blessed with many regular visiting service leaders, both current and retired ministers and lay preachers. On a few occasions during the year, the Elders lead worship and members of the congregation regularly participate in worship, presenting our Bible readings.
We have a crèche for babies and children under three and ‘busy bags’ for any young children preferring to stay with their parents.
We hold a Parade Service twice a year which is aimed at our uniformed organisations.
