January: Keeping Updated
At Bramhall URC on Saturday 11 January 10-12.00
event is for Reps, Elders and anyone interested from all 33 of our churches to meet
informally to explore and discuss together the work of our three Missional Partnerships.
A chance to reflect on where we are up to and to ask questions and raise
February: Worship Workshop
At Sale URC on Saturday 22 February 10-12.00. Repeated 2-4pm
opportunity for worship leaders and worship groups to explore worship resources
and ideas for the Lent and Easter period. We will be sharing prayer, meditation
and drama resources.
March: Reflection and Retreat
At Short Street URC on Saturday 28 March 10-2.00
time of retreat and reflection, this day is for anyone who wishes to
spend time in quiet reflection. There will be prayer stations, Bible study,
lunch and small group discussions. It will be perfect for anyone not familiar
with going on a retreat.
April: Prayer Vigil
At Heald Green URC on Saturday 11 April 10-12.00
opportunity for all our Partnerships, Elderships and Ministers to pray for our
church, world and communities. You can
pop in at any time and stay for as long or as little as you like as you visit a number of prayer stations. Coffee and tea will be
available all morning in a café area.
May: Live streaming
At Christ church Parrs wood road on Saturday 9 May 10-12.00
An opportunity for all 33 churches to see and experience a range of resources that could enhance your Sunday morning worship. Come and experience live streaming and the use of pre-recorded resources. Ideal for techno phobes.

A series of taster workshops designed to give you an opportunity to explore a particular topic. If you feel one of these workshops would benefit your church, further sessions can be delivered for church members – please ask!
Our Faith Picture - Sharing the Good News Personally
At Ashton on the Mersey URC on Wednesday 22 January at 2pm
A relaxed session on how to share your faith journey using the Church Army ‘Faith Pictures’ resource. This is an ideal session for Elders to assess whether this resource might be useful in your church.
At Marple URC on Wednesday 19 February, 2pm
For Elders who want to understand this national URC programme better and how it could be delivered in your Missional Partnership and church.

an introduction to the five ways to wellbeing and how as an Elder self-love ensures that you look after yourself as well as others. An opportunity to think through how you look after your wellbeing.
Doing Mission, Doing Community
At Didsbury URC on Monday 1 June, 2pm
An introduction to various techniques on accessing the views and opinions of local people. A quick introduction on practical ways of researching what is needed in your community.
